Based off The King of Fighters '95, this version of Iori seems to lean closer to the source, containing one Hyper and all of its Specials. However, its Power system works differently, with three bars to work with and the ability to fill it up with most attacks. It also can't move while dodging, making it one of the only characters to accurately replicate the dodging mechanics.

Iori is a four button character, with Z and C going unused. It is based off The King of Fighters '95. It also comes equipped with a dodge, Strong Attack, and Power charge. Unlike many conversions from said game, Iori's dodge is source accurate, as it doesn't allow the user to move forwards or backwards. However, the Power gauge also works differently, as it doesn't only fill up when attacked, but also can be filled up by attacking an opponent.

Compared to most other King of Fighters characters, Iori seems to be more combo heavy, as it has fast attacks, with more ability to chain. The IORI move is able to chain up to three times. Many of Iori's moves also put opponents into knockdown states, so it can be easy to keep an opponent at a safe distance.

While a glance at the files may not initially reveal custom A.I coding, Iori does indeed have it, taking advantage of its fast nature. It often chains attack together before using all three hits of IORI, using this over and over to lock down opponents. It is highly unreccomended for new users to go against this character immediately.
