They call Gardevoir sexy (or at least they used to; now Gardevoir calls them pervs). Like Ðshiznetz's other Pokémon characters, Gardevoir uses sprites from Pokémon Type: Wild and has a gameplay style inspired by said game, complete with helper select. Comboing isn't exactly this character's forte, but with ranged throws and plenty of multi-purpose projectiles, who cares if the character's a little floaty?

Gameplay[]

Gardevoiridle

Although it is possible, it is very difficult to rack up combos with Gardevoir, as only certain attacks can be cancelled into others, and most of its attacks are slow; as well as this, Gardevoir is pitifully weak, dealing barely any damage to characters with a Defence stat of 100 or above. Like the rest of Ðshiznetz's Pokémon characters, Gardevoir has the option before the round begins to select a helper that can be used to attack the opponent even while Gardevoir is being hit.

Palette Gallery[]

While completely functional prior to M.U.G.E.N 1.0, later versions of M.U.G.E.N cause Gardevoir's palettes to not function, instead using the palette of sprite 9000,0. Fortunately, a patch fixes this problem.

Trivia[]

  • Due to the lack of collision hitboxes on Gardevoir's teleport forward and Teleport back, it is possible (but very difficult) to perform either move indefinitely without ever returning to the idle state, thus preventing Gardevoir from ever taking damage.
    • The A.I. patch by Tudura tends to exploit this frequently, along with constant parrying of attacks.
