King Dedede is a major character and recurring boss character from the Kirby series, first appearing in Kirby's Dreamland as both the main antagonist and final boss. He would later appear in various roles throughout future games in the series, mostly serving as either an antagonist or as a supporting character.
King Dedede is the greedy, mischievous king of Dreamland, often coming up with schemes to rob the residents of Dreamland of both food and riches. Of course, the hero of the series, Kirby, thwarts his devious schemes time and time again. More recently, King Dedede has started to team up with Kirby, using his mighty hammer to assist the pink puffball on his many adventures to save Dreamland.
In M.U.G.E.N, King Dedede has been made by various creators.
Sapphire Flame's version[]
Slow, weak and impossible to combo with, this King Dedede is less final boss and more target practice. It uses sprites from Kirby Super Star Ultra, including the hammer sprites from King Dedede's masked counterpart.
RAIKOU's version[]
This version of Dedede is very lacking in terms of attacks, only using two buttons. Its corner push really works against it, so it won't be clobberin' 'dat 'dere Kirbeh even if it tries.
Mamaluigi339's version[]
Infinites, single-frame unblockable Normals, and overpowered Hypers are many of the problems present in this incarnation of Dreamland's food loving king. To add the cherry on the stolen cake, this character also happens to use the infamous Marvel vs. Capcom: Eternity of Heroes template.
