Fusion Worlds: Sonic vs. Mario is a stage consisting of a crossover between Mario's world and Sonic's world (specifically, Green Hill Zone and the Mushroom Kingdom), with residents of both worlds getting ready to duke it out in a battle.
In M.U.G.E.N, Fusion Worlds: Sonic vs. Mario has been made by DJ Sonic.

The stage is an original stage featuring a clash effect separating Green Hill Zone and the Mushroom Kingdom respectively. The stage itself provides quite a bit of space, being perfectly suitable for Super Jumps and air-mobile characters.
Both sides contain many characters from their respective franchises strewn about in both the foreground and background. Unfortunately, due to the heavy amount of sprites and animation, it can cause large amounts of lag on lower end computers. Many sprites can cover smaller characters as well, and it can make it somewhat difficult to track matches if a character uses similar sprites.
The music used is a combination of a dance track composed by Inter Galactica Dance Club called Super Sonic Dance Attack (a remix of the Sonic the Hedgehog title screen music and various Sonic sound effects) and an acid-house remix of the Super Mario Bros. overworld theme.
