Galacta Knight is taken directly from Kirby the Dream Battle, with most of its sprites having been ripped and edited from Kirby Super Star Ultra. While it has some original moves, most of its moveset consists of attacks it used in its boss fight in Ultra. A rarity among the Kirby the Dream Battle roster, Galacta Knight is one of the few characters to have more than one Hyper.

Gameplay[]

FouGKIdle

As a result of being directly ripped from Kirby the Dream Battle, Galacta Knight uses the game's unconventional four-button layout that consists of a jump (A), an attack that changes depending on the direction held (B), a guard C, and a Hyper X that changes depending on whether Galacta Knight is on the ground or in the air; subsequently, the more traditional direction-based methods of jumping and guarding are not available. Galacta Knight does not automatically turn to face the opponent, with turning instead being handled manually with Right and Left.

Galacta Knight features a custom A.I. that is implemented directly into the character's common states, rather than the command file. The A.I. has no real patterns or logic behind which attacks it uses as a result of it being told to use random attacks whenever it can, though this has the adverse effect of causing the A.I. to frequently cancel the current attack into either itself or another attack despite the human player being unable to do so, allowing it to perform combos that are otherwise impossible to execute; additionally, the A.I. tends to get stuck in either the guarding or idle animations and will remain in this state until attacked.
