A curious sprite edit of his brother, AxKing's take on Mario had many people talking on its release, but faded into obscurity as time went on. Many of his moves use a variety of power-ups from the games, although they are rather easy to use repeatedly and can result in infinites if timed well enough - something common for many other characters by the creator.
This version Mario is a four-button character, using buttons Ⓐ, Ⓑ, Ⓧ, and Ⓨ.
Mario can chain infinites and can trap the player in corners very easily. The character is supposed to be a mix of various Mario games and uses many power-ups from the series as attacks, including becoming Metal Mario for blocking and Raccoon Mario for what appears to be a dash attack. Mario's Hypers tend to be unbalanced: Fireball Barrage does much more damage than Hammer Throw, and also boasts the ability of range, making the latter Hyper rather undesirable. The Specials are even more broken: Koopa Shell and Tanooki Run are spammable, leading to easy victories without even using Hypers.
