As Dragonrod's first character to be released, Krookodile is a large, slow character with a four-button layout and reasonable comboability, inspired by Gladiacloud's Charizard. Despite its appealing custom sprites, this character is handicapped by its many problems.
Krookodile is a four-button character that uses for the primary attack buttons, and Ⓒ as a / attack. The combo strings it can pull off are fairly impressive, but there aren't many comboing options as most of its attacks are slow.
Due to the width of Krookodile's sprites compared to its actual width values, many of its attacks miss at close range, while many others will only hit at point-blank range, making it hard to use, especially against opponents that rely on getting in close with their attacks. Dragon Pulse, its only non-Hyper projectile attack, is a potential corner infinite if timed correctly due to both the projectile's speed and how quickly Krookodile recovers from the attack, making it quite the contrast to the rest of Krookodile's moveset.
Krookodile doesn't have custom A.I. programming, so it uses the engine default, making it more of a giant, block-happy punching bag.
