Gameplay[]

DoomWM2002Idle

Dr. Doom is a six-button character that is based on Marvel Super Heroes. Despite this, it lacks the infinity gem system implemented in said game.

Doom manages to have most of its moves from the source game. All of its moves excluding "Molecular Shield" can be used in the air, making it have a fairly solid air game.

This version isn't 100% accurate, though. The flying mode and aforementioned infinity gems are absent. Some of Doom's move commands are also different. Knee Dive doesn't require Down to be held, only needing C to be pressed. Photon Shot and Molecular Shield only use Down, Down-Left, Left motions instead of Right, Down-Right, Down, Down-Left, Left, and Photon Array is activated with Down, Down-Left, Left X+Y, X+Z, or Y+Z instead of Down, Down-Right, Right X+Y, X+Z, or Y+Z. Despite this, Doom is still fun to play as.

As stated in the ReadMe, Doom has yet to have a custom A.I. implemented, making it an easy opponent to play against.
