This version of Cable strives to be accurate to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and does a rather good job at doing so. It contains many elements other versions lack, and also offered both a four button and six button mode long before Kamekaze's iconic Marvel vs. Capcom 2 characters were ever conceived.

When first downloaded, Cable only works in WinMUGEN. However this can be rectified if any mentions of Displaytoclipboard are deleted.

Cable can either use four buttons (which uses five buttons in reality, due to the presence of the Snap Back and Alpha Counter) or six buttons, depending on how the .def file is edited regarding adding or removing semicolons. Cable is accurate to Marvel vs. Capcom 2 and has several conventions from said game, even containing the Snapback, which many conversions lack.

Much like the source game, Cable is very projectile oriented. It has very wide range and can reach across the screen with most of its moves. In fact, Cable could possibly be even more deadly towards airborne opponents, as some of its moves seem to aim up, as well as some moves also being useable in the air.

Cable's A.I isn't very diffucult. It only attacks sometimes, and tends to jump around more.
