Stated to be incomplete, this Kirby plays similarly to characters from the Marvel vs. Capcom series, complete with a Launcher and Super Jump. Perhaps it inhaled Tedhaun before the match, but Kirby occasionally comes back to life during simul mode, but only for short periods of time.

Kirby is a six-button character who supposedly takes inspiration from the Marvel vs. Capcom series, but lacks many of the more in-depth mechanics that the series offers as he only has access to Chain Comboing, Air Combos and a Super Jump. Kirby's jump goes unusually high which makes it hard to consistently combo the opponent unless they are launched. However, this may also make it easier for Kirby to escape bad situations due to most opponents not being able to approach him. He also has access to an air jump which gives him better aerial mobility. Kirby's backdash also goes a far distance which makes it a great tool for keeping away from opponents.

As one would expect from a Marvel vs. Capcom-inspired character, Kirby can reliably cancel his Normals into stronger Normals and into Specials and Supers. However, all of Kirby's Normals are deceptively safe on both hit and block. With this in mind, Kirby can easily set up infinites on the opponent by simply spamming a Normal, easiest with his standing X. Kirby's hurtboxes on his body disappear when he has active hitboxes, potentially allowing for him to avoid moves that he'd otherwise get hit from.

Kirby's sole Special is Star Shot, a simple projectile attack that can be used both in the ground and air, as well as having very little recovery time. It is a good zoning tool when combined with Kirby's fast backdash and high jumps, giving Kirby solid zoning options overall. Due to its short recovery however, Kirby can spam it quite easily to the point of it becoming an infinite in most cases. The projectile lacks a hurtbox, meaning that it can potentially go through other projectiles.

Kirby's only Hyper is Star Storm, which has Kirby creating a barrage of smaller projectiles at random trajectories. Due to the randomness of each projectile, the move is much more consistent when used next to an opponent. Also, this move has practically no recovery time, allowing Kirby to act out of it immediately to continue combos. However, one notable quirk about the move is that the projectiles will not hit falling opponents. What is even more bizarre, however, is the fact that the move is an OTG, being able to hit downed opponents.

While Kirby is a very strong fighter overall, he isn't completely flawless. Kirby's low Life and Attack stats mean that Kirby will end up taking more damage and dealing less overall. His limited moveset makes Kirby's options overall quite small as he only has access to projectile-oriented Specials/Hypers. Additionally, Kirby is rather susceptible to anti-air attacks due to his high jumps.

Kirby lacks a custom A.I. and opts to use M.U.G.E.N's default A.I. Due to this, Kirby doesn't take advantage of any of his overpowered traits and is quite easy for beginner players to defeat.
