Possibly the first ever edit of a character in M.U.G.E.N, dating to November 6th, 1999, this edit consists of a few minor tweaks and edits to Kung Fu Man. Proclaimed "faster, stronger, better" by the author of the edit, Karate Man sports a higher Attack and Defence stat than Kung Fu Man, in addition to increased speeds. Kung Fu Man's six palettes are also replaced with four new ones.

A single move has been edited in this edit, that move being the Super Kung Fu Palm Hyper. The modified version makes Karate Man perform five strikes, as opposed to Kung Fu Man's three. Indirectly caused by the addition of two strikes, the move now does 363 base damage, a significantly higher amount of damage than the original.

This edit modifies Kung Fu Man so that it functions outside of DOS M.U.G.E.N by fixing the syntax errors that prevented the character from originally doing so, such as the unquoted command triggers and third velocity values. Likely due to this being an edit of a slightly older iteration of the character, the fifth and sixth palettes are absent.
