This version of Charlie Nash is based mostly off Marvel vs. Capcom 2. However, it seems to take influence from earlier games from the vs. series, such as using six buttons and having somewhat different sound effects.
This version of Charlie plays akin to the Marvel vs Capcom series, particularly the second entry, but uses six buttons, like the older installments. With the style comes easily chainable combos, simple supers, and a combo heavy playstyle.
While Charlie is usually a charge character, only one of its Specials requires charging. Its other two Specials can be activated with the simple pressing of some directional keys. This could make Charlie unbalanced, but in reality, aside from higher versatility, Charlie is balanced. However, if timed correctly, SummerSault Kickcan combo into itself infinitely. Also, none of its Hypers can be activated with Ⓩ or Ⓒ.
Charlie's A.I isn't very difficult. It may attack occasionally, but isn't too aggressive. It still may be challenging to some inexperienced players.
