It is near impossible to pin this wildcat to a specific gameplay style, considering her small moveset and odd control scheme. That being said, Carol can still do ok with all that, as she's still able to rack up some intense combos, even if her combo pool isn't even as wide.
Carol is a three-button character, but not in a traditional sense; Ⓧ is the only Normal Attack button which is also used for Specials, Ⓨ is used exclusively for an energy-costing move and Hypers, and Ⓩ is her grab attack.
Carol, while also having an unorthodox control scheme, is still able to rack up combos easily. In addition, her Specials and Hypers are also rather easy to pull off due to their simple commands.
Her A.I. will often use combos, but isn't too difficult due to her rather limited moveset.
