Carnage has a rather erratic and unorthodox control layout. Ⓐ is used for basic attacks, Ⓑ is a button used for jumping, although it can still jump using , Ⓧ activates its two Hypers, and Ⓨ activates its two Specials.
Carnage's A.I. is quite aggressive, as it will attempt to break out of combos being done by its opponent, as well as dish out a couple combos of its own.
