Why play as Captain Falcon when you can play as his F-Zero machine? Ram head-first into the opponent like a reckless pilot and be safe in the knowledge that they'll be unable to block your onslaught. By pressing any of the two medium attack buttons, the Blue Falcon is capable of falling through the floor—Falcon only wishes his Blue Falcon could do this.

Gameplay[]
Blue Falcon is a six-button character with the same three attacks mapped to both 
and 
. It has no comboability whatsoever and lacks a full moveset, with a clear absence of any crouching Normals and most of its aerial Normals, as well as having no Specials nor Hypers, giving it a total of just seven attacks—four when excluding duplicates.
As with many characters that are unable to combo, Blue Falcon's individual attacks are far more powerful than the average character's to the point of them being considered cheap, with its heavy attacks dealing 120 damage to the average character; this isn't helped by the fact that its attacks lack startup frames, making them unblockable in the corner and giving them infinite priority. Blue Falcon's medium attacks can be used as cheap hit-and-run moves in the event of a timed match because they send Blue Falcon through the floor, thus preventing the opponent from hitting it.
Blue Falcon does not have a custom A.I., instead using the engine default. Due to the character's limited moveset, the A.I. will only be able to activate the same few attacks, allowing it to be more efficient when attacking and—given the damage output of Blue Falcon's attacks—pose some form of challenge.

Trivia[]
- Blue Falcon's forward run velocity is actually slower than its forward walk velocity at 5.6 compared to 6.4.
- Using either heavy attack on an airborne opponent will launch them incredibly high and cause them to recover to idle, keeping them far above the screen boundaries until they jump back down.
