Ironmugen's version of the heir of the Yagami clan is based off its first appearance in the King of Fighters series, King of Fighters '95. It seems to have most of the moves from said game, including an extra Hyper, but is also a beta. Its Power bar and dodge also seem to work differently.
Like most King of Fighters styled characters, Iori has a six-button layout. Ⓧ, ⓎⒶ and Ⓑ are used as Basics, Ⓩ is a designated heavy attack (which can also be preformed with Ⓨ+Ⓑ), and Ⓒ is a dodge (which can also be activated with Ⓧ+Ⓐ). Iori can also charge power with Ⓐ+Ⓨ.
Iori isn't a very complicated character to pick up, but experienced players will find it much easier to use, as the Hypers aren't the easiest to activate. Racking up combos isn't hard with the presence of flower, a rekka styled attack which can repeated for up to three hits. There is also a possibility that there are more move that could have been implemented, but haven't, due to the character's beta state.
Iori uses the default A.I most likely, as it blocks and charges power more than actually attacking, which it will do at random intervals.
