While its folder name may be called MVC_Magneto, most expecting it to actually be accurate to said game would be heavily mistaken. Magneto contains its many launchers, but its super jump only chains into one. Its Hypers also have completely different activation methods than the source.
Like most other versions of Magneto, this version uses six buttons. According to the author, the character is supposed to be similar to Marvel Super Heroes and X-Men vs. Street Fighter, with the creator planning to add in the gem system from the former.
The Hyper activation methods are different than in the source. Instead of using one motion and two buttons, two motions and one button is used. There also seems to be a hint of Street Fighter Alpha in the character, as QCF2_P uses a certain amount of power, depending on the button pressed. The other Hypers don't have this feature.
Magneto also has aerial raves, but only one launcher (Ⓩ) works properly, as the other two don't chain into its super jump. This is its only solid way of comboing, as Magneto oddly can't chain on the ground.
Magneto lacks custom A.I, making it an unchallenging opponent.
