While this version of Amingo is accurate to the Marvel vs. Capcom series, it is more faithful to the first iteration rather than the second (In which Amingo made its only appearance). There is also a Hyper that brings it to its rhythmic roots.

Gameplay[]

BeximusAmingoIdle

Amingo uses six buttons. It contains all of its Specials and Hypers from Marvel vs. Capcom 2 (plus some extra moves), but seems to be tailored more to the gameplay of the first game. Some evidence is the six button layout (Marvel vs. Capcom 2 had four buttons) as well as the Hyper backgrounds.

While it doesn't go to any ridiculous lengths, it seems to be quite custom. the attacks the cacti do in "Chi no Kodomo" depend on the button pressed, rather than the motion used. The two Hypers from the source game have been modified. "Kioku no Odori" requires the player to input the button commands displayed on the screen in order to do damage, and "Taiyo no Megumi" summons multiple vines (which seems more aesthetic than anything). In addition, Amingo gains a new Hyper.

Amingo's A.I is rather weak, as it jumps around and attacks at random intervals. It will rarely attempt to combo.
