Despite being the only conversion from the source game for a long time, this version of Khan plays rather faithfully, containing all of the mechanics from Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future. Many rushdown character fans will appreciate the character's ability to recklessly slash away at the opponent, even if he doesn't have too many moves.

Khan is a five button character, using all X, Y, or Z buttons, A as its designated stand mechanic, and B as a dodge and shortcut for its Hypers. He is based off the same character from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Heritage for the Future, with mechanics from said game.

Like the source, Khan has a designated stand mechanic, but it is different from the source's other characters. When A is pressed or held down, Khan swings Anubis and spins, slashing up the opponent with multiple hits. Khan can be controlled during this attack and can move forward slowly on the ground and quickly when in the air. It is a useful tool in Khan's repertoire as it allows him to glide and quickly move across the screen, but he can become dizzy and vulnerable if held for too long.

Khan is very much a rushdown character given his lack of projectiles, but the character is rather fast-paced and easy to play as because of this. Khan can also cause massive damage with his Hypers, as Ichitachi is able to chain into Zangaizan, further enhanced by Khan's large Power stat. He also has a counter Special, Oboeta, that memorizes moves and gives him the ability to change the tide of battle.

Khan contains no custom A.I. coding, putting all of its combos to waste. If one were to fight against an accustomed Khan player, a projectile oriented character would give the Khan player a disadvantage.
