Ayane Ikuse is a user of Ikuse-style archery. She lost her eye in the midst of training. She was blessed as a result of the Astral Impact, but is slowly losing that power.
She heads to the battlegrounds to challenge Yui Kutuna, her childhood friend and rival.
Ayane is a character who fights using melee, but uses her arrows as projectiles, which cost an arrow stock but automatically reloads over time. She has two supers, which costs her her entire energy but her power bar reloads fast every time it strikes her opponent. She attacks together with one of 4 different assists chosen before the match starts. The player can call the assist by using Ⓐ in combination with the direction arrows (as long as the support bar at enough level, she reloads automatically but will decrease if she is hit while guarding an attack), furthermore she cannot be hurt by the opponent.
She has two different modes depending on the palette chosen; "Original" and "Arrange" (she has tanned skin). With Arrange mode, her combos are faster and easier to perform.
Her A.I. is brutal, even spamming projectiles will not work against her as she constantly blocks while her assists counters the projectile, which does not hurt Ayane. This is because like most characters with AI, it is set to its' highest setting by default, but this can be changed by editing the configuration file.
