MKT's Akatsuki is a six-button character using Ⓐ, Ⓑ and Ⓒ for basic attacks, Ⓧ to grab, Ⓨ for a parry (or simply called reflectors), and Ⓩ to perform a rushdown super move (the latter being all the basic attacks pressed; or offically named Final Special Attack) With a projectile (Denkoudan), an Anti-Air (Ningen Hakubou) and a Quarter Back Kick move (Tekkoukyaku), Akatsuki is a special type of a All-Around shoto that can rack up some damage thanks to their combo game being easy to use for beginners and a good damage output being while not weak, isn't unfairly strong making them balanced out.
Having three Special moves and four Super moves, Akatsuki comes through while being simple, being a character with tricks up its sleeves with a decent zoning game and with a forward uppercut move, making Akatsuki's gameplay slightly familiar to the Marvel vs Capcom 2 combo system. There isn't really a glaring drawback torwards it despite having an average range besides their projectile. However, Akatsuki is moderately easy which makes them pose little to no threat due to its weak A.I, so it would mostly guard and attack when possible, rarely using Kamikaze.
