Akane Inuwaka is a character from the Arcana Heart series. Akane is a member of the Inuwaka clan, a Shinobi family that works for the Thousand Year Protector. She is a over-energetic girl and fighting expert, being able to analyze her opponent's abilities. She is overprotective of her sister Nazuna Inuwaka, though she never shows it, usually acting calm. Her Arcana is Phoenix (Sound).

Gameplay

Akane shares a similar mechanic to Petra Johanna Lagerkvist in that they have a move that fills a counter on the screen to a total of three, but the similarities end there, as instead of using it to fire projectiles, she uses it exclusively to add additional attacks onto a combo, and attacks almost exclusively with kicks. She is a very agile character which has most of their moves able to connect into one another to some extent, which compliments her fairly good capabilities both on the ground and in the air. Akane's disadvantages are primarily her attacks being a bit easy to block or them being slightly troublesome to land properly on an opponent.
