The Aether is a mod created for the indie sandbox game Minecraft. The mod adds the titular Aether dimension as a Heaven-esque counterpart to the base game's Hell-esque Nether, and includes several new blocks, items, weapons, and bosses. The mod is considered one of the most important and highly acclaimed mods in the history of the game, and inspired the creation of many other "new dimension" mods following its release.

The stage consists of a static in-game screenshot of the dimension, along with a platform for the fighters to stand on. The stage is rather wide and tall, allowing for the use of Super Jumps, unlike most of the creator's other Minecraft stages.
The background music used in the stage is Moa's Song, a background track from the Aether mod that would occasionally play.
