Managing to almost perfectly replicate the systems of the first and second installments of the The King of Fighters series, this version of Yuri also makes use of a stun bar to keep opponents at bay. Unlike other conversions, Yuri also has aesthetics and a proper Power bar from the source game.

Gameplay[]

945YuriIdle

Yuri is a five button character, with all buttons being Basic Attacks. However, certain abilities can be activated by pressing two buttons at once. Yuri seems to be very accurate to The King of Fighters '94 and The King of Fighters '95, being a hybrid of both games (despite both games being quite similar) and having many features from said game.

One of Yuri's main features is a stun gauge. After attacking an opponent, the gauge will decrease. It will slowly fill up, but if Yuri manages to empty the gauge, the opponent will be knocked down and sent into a dizzy state. Aside from that, Yuri does have a normal Power gauge, but it only really uses the POW gauge. Yuri cannot fill it up by attacking, so it must take damage or use pow to fill it up. When it gets filled up, it stays full for many seconds before emptying out, or can be emptied by using one of Yuri's Hypers.

Yuri has an advanced A.I that uses many of its abilities to its full extent, but at the same time, keeps the opponent at a disadvantage. This makes it more of a higher level opponent.
