The Scout is the speed-oriented offense class from the first person shooter Valve game, Team Fortress 2. He is one of the nine classes, and is listed as the first one on the class selection menu.
In the main storyline, the Scout is the youngest of eight boys from the south side of Boston, Massechusetts, USA, who has a cocky attitude and, being a huge baseball fan, usually carries a baseball bat, who gained his mighty speed from running everywhere to "beat his mad dog siblings to the fray." In Team Fortress 2, his default arsenal consists of the Scattergun, a pistol, and an aluminum baseball bat, and is known to have a hit-and-run playstyle, focusing on picking off single targets. He is the fastest class in the game, has the ability to double jump, and contests objectives twice as fast compared to other classes, which makes him ideal for finishing rounds quickly. As a trade-off, he has low health and struggles with dealing with multiple enemies.

Is it Mega Man? Or is it Scout? This 8-bit mercenary is equipped with a somewhat limited set of moves, primarily based on the weapons he uses in Team Fortress 2. Scout was built for two main things: to replicate how he plays in his source game and to talk a lot. While he is small in size, lightweight and agile, he doesn't have a great deal of normal attacks to work with, cannot combo well and has no custom A.I.
