This version of Terry is based off Fatal Fury Special, and as such, plays akin to said game. However, it doesn't replicate the plane system in said game, like most other conversions from said game. There are also no shortcut buttons.
Terry is a four button character, not using Ⓩ and Ⓒ. Pressing Ⓧ and Ⓐ together will activate its taunt (although it can still be done with Ⓢ) and Ⓨ and Ⓑ together is Terry's Strong Attack. The latter, unlike most conversions from SNK games, doesn't have a shortcut button.
Being based off Fatal Fury Special, Terry has many elements from the game, but with several key differences. It has a Strong Attack, but due to the absence of the plane system, the Attack doesn't knock the opponent into the background, instead putting the opponent into a Soft Knockdown state.
Terry's damage output also isn't as high as the the source game, but its lone Hyper works differently. Terry has three Power stocks by default, and its lone Hyper doesn't require low health, making it usable at any time.
Terry has no custom A.I, so it uses the engine's default A.I, making it an easy opponent.
