Doraemon, the main protagonist of the series of the same name, is the titular robotic cat sent back in time by Sewashi to aid Nobita.
Doraemon possesses a fourth-dimensional pocket from which he can acquire various kinds of futuristic tools, gadgets, and playthings from a future department store. Doraemon originally had ears, but they were bitten off by a robotic mouse in the 22nd century. As a result, he developed a morbid fear of mice despite being a robotic cat, because he suffers from musophobia. He loves strawberry bean dorayakis, shown as he even eats a room-sized dorayki to win a contest. (Most M.U.G.E.N versions use this as a hyper.) He also has the tendency to panic during emergencies, characterized by him frantically trying to pull out a very much-needed tool from his pocket, only to produce a huge assortment of unrelated household items. Still, Doraemon is very friendly and intelligent, not to mention long-suffering because of Nobita's antics. Disney made a translated version of the anime, which is currently on the Disney XD channel. There's even a planned movie in the works.
In M.U.G.E.N, he has been made by various creators. Most (if not all) of the Doraemons made for M.U.G.E.N use the sprites from the SNES game, Doraemon 4 - Nobita to Tsuki no Oukoku (Also known as Doraemon in the Moon Kingdom)or are strange parodies. There is also a Symbiote version of this character. Also, there is also a very strange edit of him named Mugenmon. He even has a edit in Nijikaku.
SUGIemon's version
Probably the first version of Doraemon ever made in M.U.G.E.N. In the old version it uses the kick buttons to do normal attack and the punch buttons to do the hyper attacks but the updated version uses the 6 buttons to do normal attacks and normal imputs to do hyper attacks. It has an average Gameplay.
Pooooo15's edit
This version of Doraemon is a cheap edit of SUGIemon's version. It is also bigger than the normal one, and missing sprites. Most of his specials and hypers are very easy to activate, and do brutal damage. One mid air hyper in particular can glitch, causing a error similar to: (Player 1 can only have max 512 controlers to 999) His AI is very brutal, so he could easily beat some cheap characters, such as Omega Tiger Woods. But he has more intros and winposes than SUGIemon's Doraemon, one of which grants him the ability to move around and attack before the match begins.
Mugenmon
This version, made by HanahaBananha, happens to be the worst of all. It has original sprites and sounds, but not many attacks and only one hyper, where he kicks a strange version of Nobita at the enemy. He moves slowly, doesn't jump high and may be a poor Kung Fu Man edit.
Kaiemon's version
This version of Doraemon has a slightly lighter palette and may be a edit of P00000015's version. It has more sounds, attacks, and has complete sprites. A drawback is that all of the sprites slightly tilt, making Doraemon look very pixelated, and the Level 3 hyper error still isn't fixed. His AI is even more brutal, making him a even tougher opponent. He is now a 6 button character, and his taunt gives him power and life. He also has cheap palettes. If he gets below half life, he summons an assist, which falls from the sky, (Which does massive damage on whoever it falls on.) and it buffs his stats any time he is knocked over after that point.
Dora_BD
Another Doraemon, or Battle Dome Doraemon, is based around the Battle Dome board game variation based on him, he is password protected and has bad collision boxes. He also is mostly a joke character, as he summons E. Honda, throws peaches, butter, and clones of himself. He also has a dragon as a assist.
DONAemon
Another edited version of Doraemon was created by Absolute❖ConceptЖ(MatsudaSpecial), who is a respected Japanese author known for creating Dark Excellent Donald. It is basically Doraemon with a Ronald McDonald color palette and soundpack. His AI is extremely cheap and has special palettes from 8-12.
DONAemon-type-D
An edited version of DONAemon by Black Kyurem which adds in 2 extra intros, a 7th palette to go with the already cheap palettes and some changes in the code such as being able to summon Ronald McDonald. He also has changes in his 12th palette which is meant to parody Dark Excellent Donald, which is another edit by the original editor Absolute❖ConceptЖ.
As of recently, he was updated with new moves, effects and coding updates.
HanjiEmon (Nijikaku version)
This Doraemon, or HanjiEmon, is in newer versions of the Nijikaku project. He has odd attacks, such as spawning pictures of faces and other things. He may be based on JoJo's Bizzare Adventure, as he can cosplay Jotaro and Strohiem in 2 of his hypers. A few of his attacks also are based on clocks. Aside from using the classic Doraemon sound effects of pulling items out of his pocket, he doesn't really have anything to do with the original series. Interestingly, he also has a Shun-Goku-Satsu, that does 2432 hits, but isn't a instant K.O. The number references the meme he's based on, of being "past Hanji".
Jureimen
This odd parody of Doraemon, or Jureimen, made by 2580shota, has custom sprites. He doesn't have many of them, and is missing a few, though. This version probably originates from some media named Nobita Seneki, according to his readme file when translated. He has a bionic arm, and is exteremely overpowered. He has Rugal's voice, and a few of his attacks, such as the Genocide Cutter and his wall slam, which can be a easy infinite. He also has a fullscreen instant K.O., which shows a creepy image of him. He can't be put into most custom states, or he instantly goes into the wall slam attack.
