A decent character built how you would expect Doctor Doom to be, it is essentially Marvel vs. Capcom 2 styled with the option to switch between a 4-button and 6-button layout. He certainly packs with a spammy and difficult AI when it comes to utilizing his specials and hypers. Threatening opponents with such combo tricks to put them into place.
Doctor Doom can be configured to either 4-button MvC2 style (minus the assist buttons), or a 6-button layout via the config.txt file. Doctor Doom also has the standard MvC2 move-set with fairly fluid responsiveness although there are some minor bugs present.
Doctor Doom's stats and abilities are balanced overall, but the A.I. is very aggressive and spams Hypers consistently whenever the Power bar is filled. Notwithstanding, his A.I. is of a moderate difficulty being easily beaten by experienced players.
