This version of Diddy Kong uses sprites from the game Donkey Kong Country and appears to be based off said game. However, his moveset is very bare-bones, since he has only four attacks, no aerial and crouching attacks and no Specials or Hypers.
|Diddy Kong (Diddy Kong)|
The Aboriginal One
This version of Diddy Kong is a three-button character, using the , and buttons to attack. However, his moveset is very lacking, since he has no aerial and crouching attacks and no Specials and Hypers. However, he's able to jump on the opponent to deal damage.
With only four different attacks, this character's options are very limited. All of his attacks are rather slow and unable to chain into each other. His comboability is very limted and he doesn't have a very high damage output. All of his attacks, except for its attack, have a short range. None of his attacks deal chip damage and he has no grabs, meaning the opponent can stall it out by blocking.
However, most of his attacks can knock the opponent down and his jumping attack can hit opponents on the ground. His cartwheel attack, activated with , can hit twice. If the opponent hits Diddy Kong during the attack it will get cancelled out but Diddy Kong won't take any damage, and the opponent will still get hit if the attack wasn't a projectile. Also, Diddy Kong's small size makes him hard to hit for larger opponents, who have to rely on crouching attacks. His jumping attack is also very useful against larger opponents.
This character has no custom A.I. and uses the engine's default. Given how small his moveset is, it is a very easy opponent, though his cartwheel and jumping attack can easily hit and his small size can make him hard to deal with against larger opponents.
- This character does not have any Special or Hyper Attacks.
- This character does not have any victory quotes, meaning it uses the screenpack's default.
