This version of Classic Sonic is a 6-button character, with his gameplay being based on the Marvel Vs Capcom series.
His special moves included his iconic Spin Dash, an air spin move that does little damage, and a dash that allows him to get behind their opponent at high speed with no damage. Classic Sonic has two Hypers, an increase-in-damage version of the Spin Dash (Super Spin Dash), and spinning his legs into a tornado that can be controlled by the player (Sonic Spin Drill). His combo-ability is based on Marvel Vs Capcom 2, meaning he can create chains of combos fairly easily.
This character's air spin attack is an infinite, meaning it can prevent the opponent from attacking if used continuously and can K.O. it with little effort; Also, its Emerald Dive special can be spammed. An advantage that Classic Sonic has is that his Super Spin Dash hyper covers the whole screen, meaning that he can attack the opponent from wherever they are standing in the stage.
Classic Sonic has no custom A.I., meaning he uses the default M.U.G.E.N A.I. This means it rarely attacks and blocks frequently, making it an easy opponent.
