Chunky Kong is a character appearing in the Donkey Kong series, first appearing in Donkey Kong 64. He is an ape notable for being the strongest of the Kong family, being able to easily maintain and throw boulders as well as break other large objects, although somewhat meek as well. He has a large torso and long arms to show his strength, alongside contrasting smaller legs that have him at a jumping disadvantage.
Outside of his appearance in Donkey Kong 64, Chunky has only appeared in cameo forms. His first cameo was in a minigame in the Game Boy Advance version of Donkey Kong Country 3, and later as a Sticker and a Spirit in Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, respectively.
In M.U.G.E.N, Chunky Kong has been made twice by J. NEWMAN and Joey Faust.
J. NEWMAN's version[]
J. NEWMAN's take on the strongest Kong is rather bare-bones, having choppy animations and lacking various aspects of a traditional fighting game character. He has one Special attack, being his pineapple launcher, but has an inconsistent button layout and rather slow Normals, so being one hell of a guy may take unconventional and almost impractical strategies.
