It is near impossible to pin this wildcat to a specific gameplay style, considering its small moveset and odd control scheme. That being said, Carol can still do ok with all that, as it is still able to rack up some intense combos, even if its combo pool isn't even as wide.
Carol uses sprites ripped straight from Freedom Planet. It uses Kung Fu Man as a base, like the same creator's other characters, but plays nothing like said character. In terms of gameplay, it uses all three punch buttons, but not in a traditional sense. Ⓧ is the only Normal Attack button (also used for Specials), Ⓨ is used exclusively for an energy-costing move and Hypers, and Ⓩ is a grab attack.
Carol, while also having an unorthodox control scheme, is still able to rack up combos easily. In addition, its Specials and Hypers are also rather easy to pull off due to their simple commands. Overall, Carol is a pretty good character for beginners to pick up and play.
However, it isn't such a good idea to place beginners against Carol, as the A.I. will often use its combos. That being said, the A.I wouldn't be too difficult for more seasoned players, due to its rather limited moveset.
