Captain America is the superhero alias of Steve Rogers from the Marvel Universe. Patriotic by name and motives, Cap's loyalty lies with America, and he is commonly referred to as "The First Avenger".

Horrified by the events of the second World War, Rogers tried to enlist in the United States Army, but was rejected. He was offered the opportunity to take part in a performance-enhancing experiment called Operation: Rebirth, which he accepted, and after weeks of testing, he was adminstered the Super-Soldier Serum and was exposed to vita-rays, enhancing all of Cap's bodily functions to the peak of human potential and turning him into Captain America, America's first Super-Soldier. Throughout the war, Cap fought with his partner Bucky Barnes, but in the closing months of the war, Cap was presumed dead in an explosion. Few decades later, he was found trapped in ice and was revived by S.H.I.E.L.D., where he become a member of The Avengers. His signature weapon is his indestructible disc-shaped shield, made out of a Vibranium-metal alloy.

In M.U.G.E.N, Captain America has been made by various creators, with most versions using the gameplay and sprites from Marvel Super Heroes or the Marvel vs. Capcom series.

MystikBlazeCapIdle

The first version of Captain America created in M.U.G.E.N, MystikBlaze's version of Cap comes with two different modes: the Marvel Super Heroes mode with the Infinity Gems and the Marvel vs. Capcom mode with three Hypers as opposed to one, and comes with a separate .cns file for the shield to allow for more source-accuracy. While his comboability may be limited, his high damage output will ensure that freedom prevails.
