Blaze the Cat is a character from the Sonic the Hedgehog series. She is a young princess from another dimension with pyrokinesis as well as being the guardian of the Sol Emeralds. She debuted in Sonic Rush.
Being shunned for her unusual powers since a young age, Blaze became introverted and closed on herself, not wanting to rely upon others for what she considered "her" responsabilities. When Dr.Eggman Nega took away the Sol Emeralds whomst she was the protector, she pursued him only to get stuck in Sonic 's dimension. To her own surprise, she befriended there a young rabbit girl and Sonic himself who teached her how it was ok to have friends to rely on. She since became more at ease with social interactions, helping Sonic and his friends many times since then, including in her own world in Sonic Rush Adventure.
In M.U.G.E.N, Blaze the Cat has been made several times by various creators.
MUGENHunter's version
First appearing as a secret character in MUGENHunter's Freedom Fighters 2+ full game, His take on Blaze has a somewhat generic moveset, being similar to a shotoclone, but overall, has no overly experience ruining problems, at least if the somewhat unorthodox button layout is forgiven. In fact, the character seems to have an A.I powerful enough to give most players a challenge.
Latroy6's version
If you can tolerate the obnoxious announcer and her strange walking cycle where she cavort for some reason, Latroy6's Blaze is a combo-heavy character ideal for various situations without being cheap at the same time. She disposes of a variety of attacks that can be quickly chained together, although the damage that can be done with them is quite weak. Her A.I., hard for beginner players, offer the healthy challenge that a powerful princess is expected to give in combat.
