Bellsprout is a Grass/Poison-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It is the first stage of the Victreebel evolution family, and it appears at #069 in both the Kanto and National Pokédexes.
Bellsprout are very nimble and flexible, using their thin, twig-like bodies to dodge attacks. It uses its foot-like roots to move, as well as absorb water from the ground, though it obviously cannot move while rooted, making it a potential target for predators.
In M.U.G.E.N, Bellsprout has been made once by an unknown creator. The crude sprites and limited moveset highly resemble that of the Weepinbell character, which was also made by an unknown creator, so it's possible that the two creators are the same person.
Bellsprout is a four button character, only using the buttons (X), (Y), (A) and (B). (X), a move that resembles Stun Spore, only works when Bellsprout has 500 power and freezes the opponent in place when it connects.
Bellsprout plays like a weaker version of Weepinbell, throwing only one Razor Leaf ((Y)) as opposed to Weepinbell's three, and has a shorter range on its Vine Whip ((B)).
This character does not have any Special or Hyper Attacks.
