Origin

Pokémon

Alakazam is a Psychic-type Pokémon from the Pokémon series. It is the final evolution of Abra, and has a Mega Evolution known as Mega Alakazam. It appears at #065 in both the Kanto and National Pokédexes.

Alakazam are known to be very powerful psychics, having IQ's that exceed 5000; however, due to their very weak, skeletal bodies, they are constantly using their psychic powers to move and sustain the weight of their constantly expanding brains. Due to their vast intelligence, they are able to remember everything they have experienced, even during their time as an Abra. Alakazam's psychic power is heightened even further when it Mega Evolves, but this also causes Mega Alakazam's body muscles to undergo complete and total atrophy, as all of its body energy is being converted into psychic power.

In M.U.G.E.N, Alakazam has been made by Bakisimu. It uses sprites from the Pokémon games, but with its parts rotated through an image editing application, hence the prominent blur on its sprites. Its movelist involves attacks that make use of its spoons, its psychic powers and moves it can learn in the games.

Not to let the cutlery it's holding go to waste, Alakazam's Normals make good use of its spoons, while its entire range of Special and Hyper Attacks are based on moves that it can learn in the games, although its Hypers are a bit overpowered. Its sprites are taken from the Pokémon games, albeit altered for purpose.
