Achamo, being a Japanese Torchic, is somewhat weak like a starter Pokémon, though as a trade-off, it is fully capable of racking up a few combos. It has access to two Strikers, though its wonky Power usage makes using them a questionable choice.
Achamo is a five-button character, but the layout is quite unorthodox. Ⓧ, Ⓨ and Ⓐ are its Normal Attacks, Ⓑ is used to call on its two Strikers, and Ⓩ is used exclusively in one of its Hypers. The character isn't extremely combo-heavy, but it is still able to rack up a few rather short combos. Achamo has two Strikers that require Power to be summoned; both cause low damage, possibly hinting at their use as combo extenders.
When it comes to Power usage and damage outputs, Achamo is flawed; its Strikers cost as much as a level 1 Hyper, but do barely any damage, and one of its level one Hypers does almost the same amount of damage as its level two Hyper.
Achamo's A.I. is moderately challenging, as it will make do with its combos, but will use Strikers quite often if it has enough Power.
